This bag is reminiscent of the older Jackson backpack the Kate Spade Outlets used to carry yearrrrs ago. That backpack was my favorite and I regret donating it just because I stopped using it. I was excited when I saw this on the Kate Spade website and was initially debating between the medium and the small size. I was hesitant because of the comments on the small size that the backpack straps are way too long and don’t tuck neatly away. That is not the case for the medium size Hudson backpack! The straps do not dangle the way they do for the smaller size. In fact, they’re perfect on this one! I love how simple this backpack looks, and yet the leather and the Kate Spade logo is just enough to elevate it for nicer, going out fits. I’m able to pack alllll my necessities and more and not have to debate on leaving things at home due to limited space. The back sleeve is especially handy for my Kindle Colorsoft and/or iPad mini! This backpack is a definite new favorite that will serve me a lifetime. And I just know that the Kate Spade quality will last for many many many years.
